Diagnosis and Management of Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness
2 hours
Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (AKA 3PD or PPPD) is a common vestibular condition that requires an in-depth understanding of its presentation so that it can be recognized. Treatment strategies are based on what is currently understood as the pathophysiological mechanisms contributing to the development of 3PD. Using Dr. Farrell’s patient care experience, that is based on research that is currently available, this course provides practical clinical information for assessment and treatment of patients with 3PD with the intention that treatment is individualized for each patient.
Audience
This intermediate level course is relevant for vestibular rehabilitation specialists.
